Day 745: Happy Fourf of July Wif The Name Game!

Happy Fourf of July, Ya'all... and I am happy wif the SUN what is shinin... and also a fun game to play!
Many fanks to the foughtful Frankie Furter for comin up wif this swell idea. It has been fun gettin to know all of you better frew your names!!! And now here goes...

My real AKC registered name is Cool Hand Luke wif a last name that has now been replaced wif my Forever last name of Wright!

My the Mom never had a single fought of changin my name on a counta...
  1. Most of you know the story of my rescue by GRRH, so I won't repeat it here... but I was nine years old and had been listenin to my name for... well... nine years!
  2. Luke was one of two names my the Mom had in her mind for a son if she ever had one... and she does now... so wah-lah!
  3. CHL fit my personality to a tee. If you haven't seen my movie, you should! And last but certainly not least...
... And 4. I DO very closely resemble Paul Newman, the actor who played me in the motion pitcher! [Biggyfy my pitcher to read the credits!]
Now all that's not to say that I don't have many other names, like Lulu, Lukey, Lukester and Fweety Boy... but those are stories for another day!!!

For more of my history, I would love for you to go back in time wif me and read my first few posts... I fink only then will you understand ever single miracle that collectively brought me to this fateful Forever!

And now...If you've seen Cool Hand Luke, the movie, you probably fink you know how the Bleu came by he name... head over to read his story to see if you're right!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful howliday weekend...
a Fun and Safe Fourf of July!!!

Nice sharing of your name, Luke, and we did go read about Bleu. We didn't know that Bleu had a blog too. Mom's favorite color is blue and she was a French teacher - so how about that? We are glad the sun came out for you today.

Hi Luke,

I can't see you as having anther name. My Mommy never had no human babies and she always wanted a boy named Sam or a girl named Samantha som that's hoe Angel Samantyhas got her name.

I agree with you the dirty side of Alex was awful. We couldn't get out of our driveway on Friday. The water came over the curb but not past the sidewalk.

Last night it sounded like the neighborhood was at war. They started with the fireworks befored ity got dark and didn't stop until after 11. I made Mommy hold me the whole time while we was watching tv but when it was time for bed I hid under the bed until it safe to come out. So I know exactly hiw you guys felt.
