Day 773: Various And Sundry Sunday

Sunday is the day we typically do 'this and that', and so today I'm gonna be tellin you about various and sundry fings, like how the Bleu is not the only who who like to shnoof the growies...
And yes yes yes, that is the sun you see shinin brightly on my grasses! And you know I was relieved to make this forecast early this mornin... even wif the heatitude, on a counta I can all ways go in of doors where the cool airs do blow.
I told you yesterday that the Bleu could stand and or lay out in the sunshine all day (not that the Mom would ever let him, on a counta we have to be attended in the out of doors), but today I have to take it back. Big Boy told the Mom that finally he has met a day that is too hot... though this pitcher is a little deceivin on a counta it look like he pantin, when really he yawnin...!
And that reminds me of how yesterday was to be baff day, on a counta the Mom fink it necessary from time to time, and also she fink it might just help cool us all off.

So imagine my surprise when she get invited to the Astros game, and she say yes. Normally I would be upset, but when the goin out pre-empt the baff. Alrighty then. Just sayin.
It was a good game, and the Astros swept the Brewers 6-0. The Mom also created her first panaromic pitcher wif her camera. It is not perfect but kinda fun.
It was a fun night and she enjoy ever minute, but she seem particularly tickled wif the "Eat More Fowl" ball pole!
You may be wonderin who she go to game wif, and while I can't be certain... from smells on her when she get home, I would have to make educated guess:

The Extended Herd
[Top to Bottom, Left to Right: Atlas and Dylan with Cane, below]

[Top to Bottom, Left to Right: Buddy, beyond...
and Luna wif the toy in her mouf.
Porter wif her back turned, and Dakota wif the leash in his mouf]

[Buddy, sittin!]

[ Left to Right: Dylan, Cane, Buddy, Dakota]

[Top to Bottom, Left to Right:  Luna wif the porpoise. And Dylan.]

[The Bleu's Sweetheart: The Porter!]

Gosh, I would have liked to have seen all my friends, but stayin here in the cool airs wasn't so bad either... especially on a counta the skies were so quiet!
As for the Bleu, he look like had a few too many... but he really just drunk on the smells the Mom brought home!
It was kinda late when she get home, so we went straight to bed and when we get up... we have Night Cereus bloom!!!
And I just realize, I have not shown you the giant mutant Live Oak leaf this week... so here it is. You are probably wonderin why I continually document it, and well... it is on a counta you can see if across the yard from inside the house. It stand out just like a giant mutant leaf. Just sayin.
So, yeah... to sum fings up for the day...
Shnoofin in the sunshine.
Shnoofin in the shade.
And restin in the cool airs, watchin the Mom work and do chores!
Yep. Take out the work and the chores,
and it would be near the perfect Sunday!

Your day sounds great! It rained here all day and the temperature dropped about 30 degrees from what it was. We did nothing but sleep and eat. Your day sounds much more interesting! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

Hey Luke (and Bleu),
Sounds like a GReat weekend all round. We avoid chores as best as possible, but dad ends up having to do chores on Saturday and Sunday. Glad you and Bleu are enjoying quiet weather. Mom is ordering Homer J.'s "thundershirt" tomorrow; we'll let you know how it works. Can't believe your mom brought back all of those "unfaithful" smells. Glad she enjoyed the game and that you and Bleu enjoyed your coll peace and quiet.

Wow, does sound like a most pleasant Sunday, except for that 100 degree thing we saw. That is about 80 degrees warmer than we like.
