Day 638: Free Speech Friday (Also I Have Some Splainin To Do)

And first, the "splainin" part, on a counta my words I did not post on Wednesday was tooken way outta context!

You see... it is SPRING in the Houston, Texas; it is FUNDERSTORM season and these is my storm jammies what my the Aunt Karen made me!
I have a Storm Defender Cape but it kinda swaller me, it WAY too big. It really hard to dress me in it, too, when I'm in a panic. And ok... it's plain red. Not manly, ticularly. Not fashionable.

I much prefer my Storm Jammies, on a counta who made them for the me... and you cannot tell me that this is not manly fabric! Just sayin [I just wish my the Mom had matchin jammies! How fun would that be???!].

My the Mom has become quite the student/afficianado of all fings what might reduce my anxiety round the funderstorms. My first life did a real number on me, but I cooperate wif the Mom as best as I can under circumstances. Some fings what help a lot are not particulary pleasant for the her... but she does em.

Case in point: The music CD what accompany this book... through a Dog's Ear... works MIRACLES.

I am not lyin... The music soothe and comfort me like nuffin else... most specially when I'm in my jammies. The Mom call it "funeral music", and she happily listen to it on "loop"... on a counta IT WORK. [though it practically put the Bleu into a coma!]

Anyway, I mention all that to say this... Today was pretty day, and I enjoy surveyin my kingdom (and so do the Bleu who you can see shnoofin the mulch, beyond)!

Tomorrow, however, our forecast is for 80-90% chance of FUNDERSTORMS in early afternoon.

If there is good news, it is that storm is on a Saturday when the Mom can be home wif the me. The minor bad news is that she hopes to be at a GRRH Meet-N-Greet from 11am to 1pm. I know she will be THERE if she can, and HOME wif the me FOR SURE if I need the her!

And speakin of GRRH... I am moved to introduce MaryAnn!
MaryAnn was taken, along wif her littermates, into a shelter in Lousiana. Her siblins all had the longer hair of a pure bred Golden, and were adopted quickly. MaryAnn, though, was left sad and behind. She may not look EXACTLY like a Golden, but she has all the traits of one... and she sheds VERY little!

Please read more about MaryAnn... "In The Words of Her Foster Mom"!
Here is hopin that the perfect family will come along for the MaryAnn. She's a special girl. Bless her heart... she is like my the Mom... photos do not do her justice!

Not one of the photos on the website even resemble her. She is a "gotta meet her" kinda girl! And to meet her, is to fall in love... seriously. Give me a shout if you want to know more... or follow her trail onto the GRRH website!

We hope she finds a home real soon, she looks like fun! And yer jammies are cool! Wish we had some jammies like that. We aren't afraid of them funderstorms, but they do make LizzaBelle start spinning & biting her tail sometimes, so we are like you, we hate to hear that weather dude say they are coming.

Luke, you are so selfless to mention other dogs in need. Yesh, Maryann sure is a sweetheart. Our momma is always so sad that we live to far away from just about everything in the whole world because there are so many nice dogs that could come to live with us but like I said, we live at the end of the earth.

Hey, the Luke

We think your jammies are cute. Our mommy saw that fabric at the fabric story yesterday, so if your the Mom wants matching jammies, we might be able to work something out. Hope you have a fun weekend with no storms.

Daisy and Tucker.
