Day 865: Treatment Day 2 In The History Books!

I am home I am home I am home I am home!
I. Am. Home.!!!
The very first fing I wanted to do was drink an inch of water. Then go outside. Then do a quick big business [wink]. Now let's go inside and strap on the feed bag! Sweet boy did not have breakfast foods this mornin... and I can neither confirm nor deny whether I was slipped a little tasty grub after my Treatment.

Ain't talkin. Nope. Not me. I stand by the fact that I am wiltin away wif the hungers deep deep in my very empty belly. And that's all I got to say about that.
You see, we got up early this mornin and one more time... broke wif the tradition of tasty foods upon wakin. The Mom had been frettin on a counta she knew, since this was my fourf trip to the Sugar Land... that I would know where I was goin. And she was afeared that I would be mad at her.

To the contrary! I could not get that darn harness on quick enough! I was jumpin and buckin and bumpin my leash as it rested on the hook by the door. And I was a most excellent, trustworthy and happy co-pilot, as all ways. I even managed to keep standin up as the trolley reached the sky (Hwy 290 and Beltway 8)!
The Mom, bein the Mom... She told me many fings, not unlike my very special bedtime stories. We said some prayers together. And she asked me please to not be mad at her... I didn't say I would or I wouldn't, on a counta my belly was empty. I know she worries about the decisions she makes for me... but I've never trusted any body more! I mean... she is MY THE MOM. Hello!
And besides... I am treated very well at the SLVS, and I love ALL my peoples there! They greet me when I walk in the door! They talk to me wif the happy voice! They hug me and love on me. And I'm not sayin whether they do or do not sneek me some tasty foods after my treatment. My. Lips. Are. Sealed.
They also listen intently to my the Mom when she gives them the weather, funder and nbd forecasts, and also explains "do not let the Luke's happy and friendly disposition and otherwise obedient behavior lull you into falsely believin that he will not bolt away in a heart beat on search of adventure. Keep on and hold tightly the leash!".

Blah blah blah.
One wonderful fing I have come to appreciate is that my the Aunt Karen comes wif the Mom to pick me up! I love any chance to see her, and for some reason... the Mom seems more calm! I also love that she will take me straight out for a stroll while the Mom discharges me, and I love gettin me some AK lovin in the trolley!
Today, I did a little weather prediction on the way home. A cell was bearin down just Souf us, and I told them so. First, I bumped my nose to the Aunt Karen's cheek... then I bumped my nose to the Mom's cheek... and then I put my nose to the floor board.

My the Mom was VERY happy that the Aunt Karen was there to comfort me, and once we headed due Norf... to point out all the bleu in the skies! Sigh. I love me some Aunt Karen. Just sayin.
I have now enjoyed a half order of dinner foods. And an inch at a time of the cool waters. I've been in and out a few times. And now it's time to do some baby lovin.
So I whisk my [the Comet's] reindeer wif the candies for the feet on to the big bed for some good suckin!
I'm really feelin pretty well... but I do have some weather worries on my mind. "They" say tonight is goin to be a bumpy ride. I'm not 'all in' wif that prediction just yet... but I'm not 'all out' either.

My the Mom sure hopes for a quiet, restful and peaceful night. She say it seems like it would be pilin on, if after monfs of drought... we would be deluged tonight.

If pressed for a prediction [now in dictation as I'm in the bunker]... I fink it will likely NOT be a restful night. Just a hunch at this moment.

And on a HAPPIER, yea JOYOUS note:

I would like to fank my good friends Scout and Freyja and Their Most Wonderful and Lovin the Mom... for my awesome new blog appearance! It was love at first sight for the me, but ever time I look again... I love it even more! Does that make me vain??? Just a question.

And now for a Team The Luke Report: We are doin good fings. My treatments are goin well. I also received Vaccine 2 of 4 today. I am feelin well. I am keepin the faif... and YOU are helpin me a fousand-fold wif that! I can't fank you enough for your support!
