Me and the Big Boy, in spite of the dreary and drizzlin skies, were happy to conduct some businesses!
I surveyed all the corners of the yard and then had enough of the drizzle...
Please to the Mom, twist the nob and push open the door. Hint Hint. Nudge Nudge. Wif the joy in all our hearts, she did!!! But then...It was a disappointment when Ole Gal leave us just firty minutes later...
And an awful surprise when the Mom arrived back home two and a half hours LATER THAN USUAL!!! I was NOT happy, and I gave her a wee bit of the cold shoulder. Just sayin.
O yeah, she's full of the excuses. You see, my the Mom is an architect, and from time to time when she finks we need the extra green papers... she seeks out extra aka 'moonlight' work. Allegedly... that is why she was late gettin home tonight.
The fact that she come home wif the unfaifful smells of the Biscuit and Humphrey (i.e. golden retriever and golden retriever mix)... is mere coincidence. So the Mom says...

Sometimes we just have to forgive the humans their transgressions.
I keep trying to send mine away fur green paper$ -
No one seems to want her - makes both of us sad -
So I think woo and The Bleu need to be nice to the Old Gal ;-)

PeeEssWoo: Don't furget, mine is even older!
hey The Luke,
My human, like Khyra's human, is unwanted too when it comes to getting the green paper. But my paws are crossed that soon someone will want her. I understand your feelings, though. It is no fun when our humans come home so late. We miss them! They should be with us ALL the time! But your mom is home now, so enjoy the love and comfort!

p.s. Since your mom is an architect (very cool), you should have her design you a cool dog house with doggy spa!

Welcome to my world, Luke. My Mom and Dad leave me all day sometimes. They tell me to 'watch the house'. They can watch their own house! I pretend like I do... just so they'll feed me treats later. Hey, nice talkin' at ya. Gracie.
Hi Luke
Mommy and everyone left me alone yesterday too (the 1st time I was all by myself since my K9 sister Apples died) - I was real brave.
But when everyone came home - loving and treats for me!

Maybe Biscuit and Humphrey needed some architectural work done:)
In any event we are sure there had to be good reason for the Mom to be late in getting back to her two beautiful pups.

Ruh-oh! What has the Mom been up to?

We are sure your the Mom didn't want to leave you boys, but you know she always does what's best for you guys.

Hmmmm...sounds suspicious, but the proof is in the toys..if she gets more green, you get more toys. If there are no toys, I might want to find a pirate detective!
Luke;
The more we see you standing by that door, the more with think you need a key.
We know how it is when our Mom & Dad go out and come back smelling of some unfaithfulness meeting with another furry one.
Kind of makes us wonder what other things are they not telling us about.
Hang in there , Big Guy, we love you & the Bleu
**Waving Paws In Air*** Howdy Luke! Thanks for stopping by our blog the other day! Oh, oh.. I think I'm in for a surprise...what's all this about your human leaving?? Humans Leave? Oh, oh..so far mine haven't but ya know I think I've heard them talk about that... yeah..they said they need to start training me for this...doesn't sound good to me...wish me luck on that one.

You are "The Luke" and you visited my blog! I'm so honored. Thank you so very much for your well wishes.
I've been lurking on your blog for a while... wishing you well with all my heart. I also have adopted one of your mom's phrases the "love protocol". I woke up an hour early this morning to make sure that K and I had time for the protocol before she left for her surgery at 6 AM.
Your mom is a very smart woman. And you're a genius.
Good to see you out and about even if the weather is a little cool and damp. Sorry the mom had to stay away late but it is nice for the extra green papers to come along so you can have more treats!
Here is an idea for you, Luke!
If the Mom is an architect, why not design you a nice doggie door so you can come and go as you wish?
I'd hate to see you guys out in the wet not feeling comfy.
My Mom is retired so she is home most of the time!
Kisses,
Stella
Oh, the Luke! I know what you're woofing abouts. My mom came home TWO HOURS LATE the other night, too! I thought I might waste away into nothing at all. But most luckily, she walked in right at the last second. Whew!

Hey, my dad is an architect, too! He teaches on Saturday mornings for extra green papers and I don't like work interfering with the weekend one bit! But you gotta love 'em...if it weren't for us who else would they lavish with things those papers purchase? Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
