Day 505: Golden Gratitude!

First let me say I am very grateful to all who have stopped by my little blog and left the well wishes behind... and also for ever one who support me and also my the Mom wif emails and messages and phone calls and most importantly... prayers! Very many special fanks to my good friends the Tucker and the gorgeous Daisy!

Next I guess I should tell you a little of the story... On Saturday October 24f, my the Mom found a growf on the pad of my paw. I went to the vet that day to get fleu beuster shot but my the Doctor Mark was not there and every body else was busy... so we went back on Tuesday.

Now about fifteen minutes ago, I sat down and wrote an entire book on all the fings I would like you to do to and wif my feet. It did not take long, as the pages are completely blank.... but I digress.

Long story short, the Doctor Mark say it have to come off and soon. And we already been watchin bump on other foot, knowin if it gonna come off... it have to come off soon. And so unbeknownst to me, she decide... all questionable come off.

Fast forward to the mornin of Tuesday November 3, me and the Mom leave home wifout me partakin of my breakfast foods and I am rich wif the anticipation of where we are goin UNTIL... we pull up into parkin lot of Doctor Mark... at which point, I abruptly turn to the Mom and say
"Well... THIS ain't Denny's...!"

So any way... I have surgery and it start real late in day, and I am pretty sure the Mom was wound up tight wif the worry and also really grumpy and scared... but it all went just fine. I have lump removed on pad of right paw, bump removed from top of left paw, tiny eyelid tumor removed from right eye, skin tag removed from right elbow and tiny lump removed from back.

She could not wait to come pick her sweet boy up, but I immediately frew up in the parkin lot... and it did not get much better that night at all. I did not know what to do when I got home. I did not want the love. I did not want the Mom. I did not want the nuffin... until about midnight, when...

I suddenly remember how much I love the Mom and bedtime stories and sleepin in big bed and so I wake the her up for story and then hop up next to the her... first kinda close, then between her and her body huggin pillow and then eventually half on top of the her. Yes yes yes the Luke is happy to be alive!

Free of my my bo-bees are known to be nign, but the two on my feetsies have been sent off... to military school or wherever bad bo-bees are sent... I will let you know when we hear from the them.

And now if nuffin else funny bout entire ordeal... please have laugh on me... as I model my white socks and blue slippers!

My the Mom would not let me very far off the patio as I am to be on my feet as little as possible.
And now I'm ready to go back to the inside if the Mom would stop takin the pitchers...
Geez really... these meds make me very very sweepy! Pweese to wet me back in the door...
Ahhh. Back in and where I want to be. (I am not posed to put a lotta pressure on my foot but the Mom has given up on tryin to keep me from jumpin on and off the bed... and that's why I love the her).
I went on Fursday and had left slipper removed and right one changed out (God helped Katherine at the Fairbanks!)... so now I have a whole new look. Will post that soon, along wif more Howl-O-Ween pitchers.
I must tell you once more before I go just xactly how much it mean to me to have the friends like the you... it mean WORLD. It do. From bottom of my sweet heart... Fank you!

So good to hear the story right from yours truly - we were very worried about you when we heard the news about all the lump removals. We would never laugh at you, Luke, and besides, blue is our Mom's favorite color so those booties are just great. Here's hoping for a great report back on those two bo bees.

Hello, Sweet Luke

We are glad to hear that you are mending, and feeling better, and the Daisy thinks your new booties are very cute, you could start a trend.

We hope the bo bees are banished to military school forever, and bother you no more.

Love from the Daisy and the Tucker

Luke I am so glad you are home and safe. I think you look very handsome in your blue booties. They look like slippers. Mom is praying for you and I am hoping as hard as I can that everything will be ok. The Power of the Paw!!!

Luke;
We are so glad that you are feeling better.
Keep looking at Mom with those big brown eyes and milk it for all it's worth.
Our Mom & Dad are suckers for that Golden look.

Those are some very styling slippers you are wearing. You might start a new doggie fashion trend. But probably not. Just saying.

Hopefully, those bumps sent off to military school will come back very well behaved and not causing more problems. We will wait to hear the report card.

Best wishes from the Herd - with lots of paws crossed and Sibe Vibes to our Golden pal.

HEY LUKE,
Boy is it GReat to hear from you. We've been like worried to the hot place and back. We've had the good vibe machine on full blast for y'all with this darn bump removal thing. We all took a vote and decided that the blue and white booties are manly; now if they had been pink that'd be a different story. We're leaving the good vibe machine on 'til we hear about the bioptic analysis results. We hope that your mom is a bit relieved now; she worries about youse and bleu ya know.
